Two Russian missiles struck a residential area in the center of Ukraine’s second city Kharkiv on Tuesday (January 16), injuring 17 people, two of them seriously, and badly damaging homes, local officials said.
Footage showed rescue teams poring over debris of destroyed buildings, tackling fires, scrambling up ladders to damaged upper stories and helping evacuees board minibuses.
