The founder and CEO of the messaging service Telegram, Pavel Durov, was detained at the Bourget airport south of Paris on suspicion of violating laws pertaining to his messaging app.
According to local authorities, Durov, 39, was travelling from Azerbaijan on his private plane when he was the object of a French arrest order that was issued as part of an initial probe on Sunday.
