Texas Supreme Court temporarily blocks woman’s abortive

The Texas Supreme Court temporarily blocked a pregnant woman from getting an emergency abortion. The court froze a lower court’s ruling that would have allowed Kate Cox to obtain the procedure.
Cox is 20 weeks pregnant. Her unborn baby was diagnosed with a fatal genetic condition and isn’t expected to live more than a few dies outside the womb, according to her lawsuit. Cox has argued that the pregnancy is putting her health and future ability to have children at risk.
The court has not said when it will issue a full ruling. #cnn #news #shorts
