The Indian economy grew 8.4% during the October-December quarter, beating the RBI and Dalal Street estimates. The RBI had pegged the growth for this quarter at 6.5%. In a big move to reduce India’s dependency on imports to the requirement of semiconductors, the government has approved the setting up 3 chip manufacturing units in the country. After reaching the moon, India is now named for the stars. ISRO revealed the names of 4 astronauts who have been selected to be part of India’s first manned mission to space.
