The other race: Americans to vote for senators in 34 states
When Americans head to the polls to choose the next president, they’ll also be voting in 34 states for Senators to represent them in Washington. Many of these races are too close to call, and which political party will hold the majority in the Senate is at stake. That has both Democrats and Republicans campaigning hard and spending heavily, even in states they once took for granted.
