UK Development Minister urges immediate ceasefire, return of hostages and urgent Gaza aid
In an interview with Al Jazeera from the Jordanian capital, UK Development Minister Anneliese Dodds emphasized the urgent need to halt the ongoing violence in Gaza. She highlighted the UK government’s commitment to international humanitarian law and its efforts to stop arms exports to Israel that could exacerbate the conflict. Dodds stressed the importance of an immediate ceasefire, the return of hostages, and a significant increase in humanitarian aid to Gaza.
