UN security council urges Israel to halt illegal settlements in West Bank
The United Nations Security Council has once again urged Israel to stop its expansion of illegal settlements, in the Occupied West Bank. Members of the council warned that it threatens any chances of a two-state solution. But so far, repeated calls for Israel to stop building illegal settlements have been ignored -and instead it’s constructing more.
