US duo Victor Ambros, Gary Ruvkun win Nobel medicine for microRNA discovery
Two American scientists Victor Ambros and Gary Ruvkin have won the Nobel prize in medicine, for their discovery of micro-RNA molecules in cells.
It’s the second year in a row that RNA work has been recognized.
The research that led to the first m-RNA vaccines to fight COVID-19, was given the Nobel Prize last year.
