Venezuela’s political dissidents: Hundreds fleeing government ‘persecution’
Hundreds of Venezuelan political dissidents have fled to neighbouring Colombia, in fear of what they call unprecedented persecution.
That’s after President Nicolas Maduro claimed victory in July’s 28th elections – a result that’s been disputed by the opposition and questioned by foreign observers.
