Voices of Gaza: Lina Jundiya’s struggle with displacement, starvation and hardship amid Israel’s war
Lina Jundiya and her brother have been repeatedly displaced during Israel’s war since last October. They witnessed Israeli forces raiding al-Shifa Hospital in northern Gaza, where they were separated from their family. In northern Gaza, they faced starvation, hardships, and being trapped under rubble. Lina’s uncle was injured, and they went to al-Shifaa Hospital but had to leave for Southern Gaza after Israeli forces shelled the complex. They lost contact with their family for days before reuniting. Lina now spends her days visiting friends and sleeping at their houses. Separated from her son, Sanad, for three months, Lina is deeply saddened, missing her home, family, and everything in Gaza.
