A terrifying discovery in deep space has stunned astronomers. Hubble Space Telescope has spotted a rogue supermassive black hole devouring a star—600 million light-years away. This is the first time such a wandering black hole has been detected through optical surveys. Normally found at galaxy centers, this one is roaming freely, tearing stars apart. The bright flash observed, named AT2024tvd, was caused by a tidal disruption event. Scientists believe it was ejected during a clash of three black holes and may eventually merge with its original galactic core.
