West African leaders’ summit opens as coup-hit countries form alliance
A summit of West African leaders has ended in the Nigerian capital with fears of disintegration.
That’s after military rulers of Niger, Mali and Burkina Faso set up a new alliance to rival the regional bloc ECOWAS.
