Will Iran’s presidential election see a conservative or reformist victory on Friday?
Iran will hold an early presidential election on Friday – to choose a successor to Ebrahim Raisi, who died in a helicopter crash last month.
Dozens of candidates submitted applications, but the Guardian Council – a 12-member vetting body – approved only six.
Two conservative candidates and a reformist are front-runners.
Al Jazeera’s Resul Serdar reports from Tehran.
