Worries mount as China ees surge in mysterious respiratory illness among children
Hospitals in some areas of China have been overwhelmed after a surge in respiratory illnesses among children.
Following a surge in respiratory illnesses in China, particularly among children, paediatric units in city hospitals are swamped. Many hospital wards are full.
The World Health Organization has asked Beijing to provide more information on the cases.
