One of the top features of the penthouse is its large, private terrace, complete with views of the San Remo and the Dakota. The terrace also has a dining area. The building itself was built in the early 1900s as part of eighteen different structures from famed architect Percy Griffin.

When she bought it, it needed a lot of work, but Karan was up to the challenge. The entire space is designed with every bit of flair you might expect from Karan, who combines dark, brooding colors with white walls. The one-bedroom apartment is 7,000-square-feet, and it provides Karan with beautiful views of Central Park.

The pair’s farm has alpacas and horses, and the grounds go for miles. In 2014, Bacon’s neighbor put her home on Sharon Station Road up for sale, and the seventeen-acre property featured a Dutchess country home. It went on the market for just under $4 million, though the seller did have trouble finding a buyer.

The apartment has a total of ten rooms, as well as an elevator landing. The building itself is thirteen stories, and it was built before WWI. Though Fey’s condo has two fireplaces, she says that she never uses them, as they make the apartment “too warm” in the winter.

Shaffer turned quite a profit on the residence, as he bought it in 1990 for $1.79 million. It took him years to offload, and there were failed attempts in 2008 and 2009 before, in 2014, Danes and Dancy came along.
